Great Smokey Mt National Park and The Lodge at Buckberry Creek  7-29-2005

One of our first trips to Gatlinburg, TN and Smokey Mt National Park. We found a very nice (but expensive) lodge and did a short hike up to the observation deck at Clingman's dome. I'd definately recommend the lodge if you can find a deal, and Clingman's dome is a great short hike. I liked walking around the city of Gatlinburg, but Louise thought it was a horrible toursit trap so your milage may vary.
